36000 BTU Dual Zone Mini Split Air Conditioner - Heat Pump - SENA/36HF/D

My friend and I installed this unit in a well insulated 2 story home in Invermere BC in September 2022. The unit was delivered promptly and was complete with line hide accessories. Installation was straight forward. One note! The Indore mounting brackets come with a handy bubble level so it is easy to see that you have the indoor unit mounted level (very important for condensation drainage) One of the indoor mounting bracket bubble level was slightly out of level so we used a construction level to correct the mounting. It is very helpful to have the built in bubble level if it is accurate but very misleading and potentially problematic if it is not accurate! Also the installation instructions for dual and multi zone units should make it clear that the entire refrigerant pre-load in the outdoor unit is located in the outdoor unit BEHIND the upper main refrigerant valve. This made pressure testing and evacuation very simple because we could simply open the two valve circuits we were using (A and B), flush them with clean dry nitrogen, then pressure test with nitrogen then evacuate together instead of doing this twice (and leaving out the small amount of piping to the main valve). This made the entire process very simple and smooth. AND I had to call the very helpful Tech department at Senville to learn this. It would be helpful if all this was covered in the installation manual! All this considered this is really an excellent product that has worked well and provided heat to this house through a mountain winter with spells of -30C temperatures. I highly recommend this product.

At minus 18 degrees Celsius, my house is always warm and without heat loss. The installation is very easy to do. The only thing is that you have to use a machine to vacuum and remove moisture from the machine. I suggest you have it done by a refrigeration specialist, because at the same time, it will check the tightness of your machine. The condenser is already charged for a length of 20 feet. Je vous suggère de le faire faire par un frigoriste spécialiste, car en même temps, il vérifiera l'étanchéité de votre machine. Le condenseur est déjà chargé pour une longueur de 20 pieds.

Installed Last Week Oct 9. 36000 Dual Unit. One 18,000 Basement and one 18,000 first floor .Works great.

Recently installed the 36000 dual unit. 24000 on our main floor and 18000 on our second floor. Completed the installation myself found the manuals to be accurate and we'll written. Only issue was the 24000 unit piping kit required a special adapter which was difficult to source locally. Started unit up and has been working great so far. Temperature outside at the time was -19c with wind chills of -30c. The 24000 btu unit is keeping our entire house at 21c without turning on the 18000 btu unit. Our house is 1850 Sq ft and is 70 years old. So far we are very satisfied with our purchase.
