24000 BTU Floor Mounted Mini Split Air Conditioner - Heat Pump - SENA/24HF/IF

I'm In a remote location so I decided to learn to install myself. There's lots of info out there so if you're inclined with some electrical and mechanical experience and don't mind learning new skills and taking up your own time it's very doable on your own. Comes with everything you need but as other reviewers of Senville installs have noted the instructions could be better. This only slowed me down vs stopped me. All good in the end. I'd be much faster if I was to install a second unit. The outdoor unit is very very quiet, and the indoor is quiet. The unit can push a lot of air so at high speed the sound is noticeable but still not any issue for me. A typical house fan is louder. My open plan space didn't have a good spot for the high wall unit so I opted for the floor mount. I was worried about air flow but due to the unit's strong fan I don't see any issues now. Another nice bonus for me was I was able to route the pipes, drain, electrical directly through the floor and into the space under my cottage so no exterior finishing required. Note you need a 3.5" hole saw for this unit. Not sure why a smaller wall sleeve was not supplied as the 3.5" sleeve was oversized and there wasn't enough putty supplied to seal the remaining space in the sleeve. I used window/door expanding foam instead. I wish Senville would honor some sort of warranty for self installers. it's a huge online retailer like Mr Cool. Senville tech seems superior for the pricing and the only difference is that Senville's lines are not pre-charged. So why the lack of self install warranty? How about offer a purchasable warranty for DIYers? That's the reason I knocked off a star.

We are glad to have purchased not only one but two 24k heat pump a/c from this company. It has been a while since we installed the wall mounting system...it has passed the hot, mild and cold days ....so now we can write some feedbacks. We in fact had used a samsung system in the past, and were happy with it. But frankly speaking, this time we decided to try with this Senville on line , with hope to save some money due to the broken down of the old system at this difficult time (pandemic). Every where we requested for quotation, it ranged from 5k to 10 k!!! ridiculously as you may know, even some brands have no reputation at all! We finally go with Senville, we tried one system with a fraction of cost....it turned out that we save lot of money, but the most important and noticeable points is the quality of the system. It has been beyond our expectation. From ultra-silence, turbo response to temperature demand, convenience, technology up to date (smart system).... and so with the saving amount of money, we bought another system. This one is floor mounting system, will be installed very soon. We are sure it will be same or better without doubt. Because upon inspecting the in and out this indoor console , we know it is very good. With all that having stated, we think it is appropriate for us to write something good to share to anyone may look for the good deal , quality...without sacrifice much on hard earned money.
