12000 BTU Mini Split Air Conditioner - Heat Pump - SENA/12HF

Installation was straightforward. One surprise was when I removed the protective plugs from the indoor unit to connect the line set, there was a lot of gas released. The indoor units are pre-pressurized to test for leaks at the factory, and keep dirt/moisture out during shipping and storage. The 4 wire interconnect cord has pins on one end (indoor unit), and lugs on the other (outdoor unit). Possibly drill your hole to outside larger than the 2.5" holesaw they recommended. It looks big, but is a bit tight to get everything through. Go with 3-3.25" if you can. Also I'd drill it slightly lower than the recommended hole center point by 1/4 - 1/2" Double check before drilling, that the unit covers the hole from view. Drain hose on the bottom, below pipes and interconnect cord. Watch some youtube videos re bending the lines. When everything is ready to vacuum down the lines ...... vacuum the lines first. Shutoff the gauge knob, or the pump valve. then open the outdoor units gas lines slowly to fill. THEN you can quickly remove the vac line from the units service port. If you disconnect the vac line first, you will lose vacuum. Pressurize the lines with gas first, after vacuuming. You'll lose a tiny bit of gas, but not add air back. I was surprised how quiet both units were. I had a mini split AC unit years ago, but the outdoor unit was noisy. I thought there was something wrong with this as I walked up to it. I had set the indoor temp down and the indoor unit was blowing. I really had to listen to see the outdoor unit was running. The fan was on, and even it was quiet. The inverter (variable speed DC compressor) technology is extremely quiet. Even in turbo mode, the indoor unit can be heard, but isnt loud. During normal operations once the preset temp is reached, its blowing, but not heard above the everyday household background sounds. I hired a local company to vacuum it, vs buy my own pump. Guy hadnt seen as nice a cover kit for the outdoor lineset. It looks good for what it is, but not having seen others, I didn't realize the kit these folks sell is a really nice one. Unit arrived before the estimated ship date I was given, as mine was a pre-order. So happy with the product, and process.

I ordered my Aura 12000 BTU mini split unit a few weeks. There were a few bumps in the ordering process however Senville Customer service was very helpful to get them resolved for me. I recived the unit last week and I installed it last weekend. I have not had a chance to use it a lot yet since it was still snowing one month ago. However I have done a few test runs. The unit is extremely quiet and the air that exists the air handler is ice cold and the system is extremely quiet. For the moment I am very happy with my purchase. I can’t wait for the first heat wave of 2018 in order to really test this unit. I have installed this unit on my main floor to help out my main unit that is upstairs. The unit came with detailed instructions and several parts that made the installation go smoothly. I did need to go to the hardware store to buy a couple items that are not included. In the future I will most likely order again from Senville!

This is a great product, The technician was impressed by the performance of the machine. In addition to being cheaper than others.

Purchased 12000 HF easy to install, easy to operate. Minus 19 Celsius and producing heat. Can't wait to see how well the A/C works. I see more of these units in the future.

Excellent, très silencieux, je recommande ce produit

Very nice look of the inside head , easy to read display ,temp, defrost. Remote is also easy to read, ie : tells you heat, cool , fan rather then over models that give you a symbol . This is only the 2nd unit I have installed for people but so far all is good . Tell will tell however . At the end of the day price point is great . This unit came with line set and control cable witch is another cost savings .

The product arrived (across Canada) within a week of shipping. I was pleased to find there were additional accessories and fasteners in the package. The installation was very simple, and went very well. Our installer was amazed at how quietly the unit ran, and how much heat it produced with outside temperatures at freezing level. He said it was the quietest one he's ever seen. Communication with the company has been very good. At this point (we have just installed it), we highly recommend this unit. Thank you!

This machine runs very well and not noisy it heat and cool our house in no time. Also easy installation and fast delivery from the company. I recommend this product.
